The UNICEF Startup Lab is an accelerator program aimed at discovering and supporting innovative early-stage startups and social enterprises that can improve the lives of children and youth, offering mentorship, capacity building, and opportunities to pilot solutions within UNICEF projects, particularly for those operating in Africa and emerging markets.

Eligibility Criteria

• Open to startups operating in Africa or other emerging markets
• Must be a legally registered early-stage startup or social enterprise
• Targeting early-stage startups with innovative and scalable solutions
• Solutions must address social issues affecting children and youth
• Entrepreneurs must be willing to collaborate with global development partners

Participation Commitments

• Must submit a pre-application form with basic information
• Qualified applicants will receive a link to the main application after pre-application approval
