About
The SGCI Multilateral Research Call invites Kenyan institutions to form research consortia with partners from at least three eligible African countries, focusing on priority areas such as Health, Agriculture, Artificial Intelligence, Energy, and Environment, with grants of up to KES 20,000,000 available for projects lasting up to 36 months, aimed at advancing Africa's Science, Technology, and Innovation Strategy for 2034.

Eligibility Criteria
- Principal Investigator must be a Kenyan citizen
- Must be affiliated with a recognized Kenyan research institution
- Lead Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent experience
- At least 3 institutions in each consortium
Participation Commitments
- Form a consortium with at least 3 institutions
- Submit a letter of support from the host institution
- Participate in evaluation processes
